TGIF? ... not.

If I didn't have to work tomorrow, I'd be saying "TGIF", like most of the world is doing. It's my own "fault" ... I was sick yesterday, so tomorrow's a make-up day for me ... these sinuses are killng me ... I don't know if it's anticipation, therefore I feel worse right now ... or if my sinuses are actually getting worse by the day. My surgery is 2 weeks from yesterday ... 2/19/09. It's funny, septoplasty, aka rhinoplasty, used to be on my list of "Oh No You're Not EVER Doing That To Me" ... (right between cystocele and rectocele repair). Now, 2/19 can't come soon enough. I just hope it's a cure, and not the beginning of many sinus surgeries. Gotta think positive!

Here's some pics of our new recliners and area rug. The middle picture was taken by hubby a few minutes ago ... he caught me blogging in action!

G'night, all!

  1. Your place looks totally cozy - nice to see a pic of you. The furniture was a great choice.

  2. First of all... Thanks (about the music). :)

Secondly... I hope you don't suffer too much between now and the surgery, and that everything goes smoothly so that it's all over and done with and you can get on with recovery. I know from experience how frustrating - not to mention draining - it is when an operation that should have been a one off op turns in to several hospital trips... Hope that doesn't happen to you! *Hugs*

What exactly is it you're having done? Sorry if that's a stupid question, but I'm not familiar with many medical terms. You'd think with how much time I've spent in hospital I'd have picked some of them up, but I guess not. LOL!

  3. The place looks so nice. I couldn't help but laugh because Shelby lays on me like Maizie is laying on you.
